Welcome, friend.
I am Liberata, a proud East African Swahili woman. Even as I travel the world and embrace different cultures, I carry my roots with me wherever I go. I enjoy dancing, flowers, learning etiquette, beautiful sunsets, and life in the countryside. I cherish sincere, honest friendships and find deep joy in living a private life with my family.
This corner of the internet holds a few of my passion projects—Hemani, a sanctuary beneath open skies; LR Tanzania, curated candles, clothing, and objects designed to honor life and presence; and Kwenu, modest shop spaces supporting women in work, creativity, and daily life. Each is rooted in heritage, intention, dignity, built slowly and thoughtfully to honor those who inhabit them.
Alongside these projects, I manage automation and artificial intelligence projects in healthcare technology in Washington, D.C., helping organizations capture meaningful value from AI while keeping human presence, judgment, and dignity central. This work reflects the same principles of precision, ethics, and sustainability that guide everything I create.
Whether you have arrived out of curiosity, inspiration, or gentle serendipity, I hope something here warms your heart or awakens a spark within you. If anything here speaks to your interest, let’s connect.
You are most welcome here. And thank you for stopping by :)
